Cat Inspect allows you to conduct quick, digital equipment inspections and access that data anytime (without the paperwork!).

Apart from the routine prestart checks, each Cat machine has its own specific inspections that you should follow regularly.

Rather than trying to remember it all, Cat Inspect has you covered with step-by-step instructions, via an app, that are specific to your machine and the type of inspection.

Getting Started

Using the app is straight forward. All you have to do is set up an account and from then on, it’s smooth sailing. If you already have an account that you use to access other Caterpillar services like Cat Central, you’ll be able to use that to log in to Cat Inspect – which makes getting started even easier!

We've got your back

With Cat Inspect, you can look up your machine and choose from three types of inspections:

1. Equipment Inspections – search by machine family or serial number prefix
2. Site inspections – includes buildings, storage and contamination control
3. S·O·S - View fluid analysis reports to better understand equipment condition (training for this is available here)

Your inspection can be as detailed as you like with the option to create custom inspection forms and save images, videos and comments.
